A few years ago my husband and I were invited to a luncheon in honour of my nephew and his soon to be wife. This luncheon was given by the bride-to-be's grandmother. When we received the invitation in the mail, we also received a blank recipe card and were asked to write the recipe of one our favorite or signature dishes and bring the card to the luncheon. At the luncheon the cards were collected, put in a lovely recipe box and presented to the bride-to-be. She now had recipes of some of my nephew's favorite meals along with some classics and ethnic dishes.
